Description

27-31mm. A reddish-brown species with a variety of sizes of dark spots. Two of the largest patches are on the median area of the FW and one forms a partial median fascia near the inner angle of the HW. The margins and fringes are pinkish brown. The species is moderately variable. Sometimes the orange coloration is much reduced or the large dark spots may be reduced. The three small oval spots on FW apex are often obvious. The species is superficially similar to Aglaopus decussata but that species is more orange with a broader FW and less distinct dark markings, especially on the Un (RTS:126).
