Taxonomy

Sulawesi, Dumoga Bone NP, Tumpah Transect, Site 8. The holotype of Striglina cuticula Whalley 1976 from Sulawesi (Koelawi, Paloe) is in the NHM (Mi7291), genitalia slide #14026 (Whalley 1976:60, fig’d)

Description

32mm. A reddish-brown species with a speckling of small dark spots. The FW has a diffuse dark brown orbicular spot and small diffuse dark brown patches posterior to it. Externally similar to S. rufescens Gaede, 1922 but with distinct male genitalia. Females unknown to Whalley (1976).
