Conogethes sp. 9. A short series from Sabah, PHS in the Schulze Coll. as Conogethes [diminutiva] near var. fulvida Warren, 1896c: 168. in the Schulze Coll. This is definitely not Conogethes diminutiva Warren.

Description
Wing length: 9.5mm. The FW is mainly a reddish brown with a few areas of yellow, especially termenally. Fresh specimens are quite dark reddish brown. The HW is mainly yellow with black spots and reddish spots which merge to form a post median fascia. The body is orange-brown dorsally and the males have dark anal hair pencils. Schulze (2000) taxon #237.

Sabah. Lowland & lower montane, primary forest including canopy 580-1200m.
