  Conogethes sp. 8. nr. Botys [Conogethes] nicippealis Walker, 1859e: 999. A single specimen from Sabah, PHS in the Schulze Coll. and three specimens in the SLS coll. from Imbak Canyon C.A. and Malua F.R. Schulze (2000) taxon # 239 & Whitaker Kitching taxon #615.

  Description

  
  

  Wing length: 9.5mm. The spotting pattern is similar to Conogethes diminutiva Warren, 1896c: 168 & C. evaxalis Walker 1859e: 995 but is black not reddish brown as in C. evaxalis. A very faint darker suffusion is present on the subcosta and central areas of the fW on the FW. Tmw/kitching taxon #615, Schulze taxon #239.
