Agrotera sp. 5. Morphotypes in the Schulze Coll. resembling a specimen from PHS (canopy walkway) determined by W. Speidel as near A. posticolalis Wileman, 1911.

Description
Wing length : 10mm. Like most members of the A. basinotata group the basal area of the FW and the thorax are cream speckled with orange. Distally the wings are a deep purple with brown lineation. The FW margin and fringe is chequered with purple on white. Note the long, orange and cream tegulae, tipped with black. This differs from a typical A. posticolalis in having an orange orbicular patch adjacent to the elongate black stigma similar to A. nemoralis. Schulze (2000) taxon #219.
