  Bacotoma sp. 2 nr B. ptochora Meyrick, 1894; a specimen in the Schulze Coll. from Sabah, PHS.

  Description

  
  

  Wing Length: 12mm. This sp. has a broad brown costa and brown wing borders on a golden yellow base. It is similar to B. ptochura Meyrick but it is smaller and has a small indistinct spot basally on the HW subcosta.
  
  Note the shape of the narrow post median fascia line on the HW is different from typical P. ptochura Meyrick and the stigmatic mark in the FW cell is more distinct. Males are similar with no obvious anal hair pencils. Schulze (2000) Taxon #598.
