    Cirrhochrista sp. 1. An unnamed morphotype resembling Cirrhochrista semibrunnea Hampson, [1895] 1895: 918 (TL Bhutan), in the NHM and SLS Colls.

  • Description


    Wing length: 12mm. A primarily brown and white sp. with the distinctive FW patterning of the C. spissalis group, where the brown subapical, sub-termenal and basal fasciae delineate a white figure of eight shaped space. Like Cirrhochrista semibrunea: 918 (TL Bhutan) the abdomen has the two basal segments white laterally, with a slightly broadening dark orange-centred mid-dorsal fascia.
