  • Taxonomy


    Glaucocharis sp. 1. An unnamed morphotype from Sabah in the NHM.

  • Description


    Wing length : 6.5mm. This sp. has a FW primarily coloured in slate blue with some orange markings the largest being a double orbicular spot. There is a orange antemedian line with blackish margins. The submarginal area is delineated by a curving bluish line with darker margins. The submarginal area contains orange and bluish streaks and two or three black submarginal spots. The marginal line is white with a black outer edge a pattern repeated in the long fringes. The HW is mainly white but it is suffused with pale blue grey and pale orange towards the margin. The marginal line is white with a black outer edge a pattern repeated in the long fringes.
