Taxonomy
The holotype of Pyrausta ochracealis Walker, [1866 Jan 13] 1865: 1446, is from Java. This sp. is probably not well placed in Pyrausta Schrank, 1802 (as in the LepIndex). Generic placement uncertain, but here temporararily placed in Botyodes Guenée 1854 pending further investigation.

Description
Wing Length: 13mm. A fulvous sp. with darker brown markings. Note the submarginal lines of short dashes not seen in most other Botyodes spp. See Botyodes spp. 1 & 2 which are very similar and compare with Botyodes diniasalis (Walker).

Distribution & Habitat
Sri Lanka, India (Assam, Nicobar Is.), Burma, Singapore, Sabah, Indonesia (Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi). Lowland.
