The holotype of Nymphula nigra Warren, 1896 :220 is from India (Khasia Hills) is in the NHM.
Comb. n. to Parthenodes (Yoshiyasu, 1985a: 99)
As Paracymoriza in Speidel et al. (1999b).
It is considered that a new genus should be erected for these small dark, elongate-winged spp., of the P. nigra group -
Description
Wing length: 10mm. Either this is a very variable species or P. nigra represents a complex of several similar spp.
