Description
Wing length: 5mm. A small sp. with an orange brown and white pattern. In the hind-wings N. kinabaluensis has some similarities with N. xanthobathra (Meyrick, 1894a) from S.W. Borneo. The serrate subterminal line and the five eyespots separated by orange or silvery white on the HW margin are said to be diagnostic for this sp. (Mey, 2009) However note that Nymphicula sp. 2 and the larger Nymphicula blandialis share the serrate subterminal line, but have four eyespots. The white post median patch from the costa is different in all three spp..
