Hypolamprus bipunctatus Warren, 1897;  Plate 5;   not Borneo

Taxonomy

W. Malaysia, GTE. The holotype of Hypolamprus bipunctatus Warren, 1897:198 is from Java. This species is not well placed in Hypolamprus and Shaffer indicated that Rhodoneura might be more appropriate (Shaffer, Ms. comb. n. 1992 LepIndex), but here it is retained in Hypolamprus pending further investigation of Rhodoneura, Collinsa and Pharambara. It resembles several indistinctly marked species currently placed in Collinsa (e.g. C. rhodosticta & C. roseopuncta).
