West Malaysia, GTE. This morphotype, close to C. anticalis Walker is from West Malaysia, GTE, in the HSB Coll.

Description

24mm. A silvery species with pale brown well defined markings. The FW has basal and coastal areas with dense purple-brown strigillate markings and the veins are brown with two small black spots near the apex. The markings are similar but better defined than in C. anticalis Walker, but this morphotype has a broad postmedian area devoid of markings which in the typical form has a cloudy brown patch. The HW submarginal dotted line is much thicker and continuous and has other dark well defined fasciae running parallel to the HW termen.
