Taxonomy
Kalimantan Selatan, Pulau Laut.
The holotype of Brixia dorilusalis Walker, 1859e:890 from Sarawak is in the OUMNH. Comb. n. Shaffer & Nielsen (1996). For synonymy and habitats see Swinhoe (1906: 286).
Syn. Pyralis albiferalis Walker, [1866] 1865:1524 from the Moluccas (Batchian) is in the OUMNH. Syn. n. (Shaffer & Nielsen, 1996).
Syn. Pyralis imbutalis Walker, [1866] 1865:1524 from Misool is in OUMNH ;
Syn. Siculodes acutipennis Pagenstecher, 1886:167 is from the Moluccas (Aru Is.).
Syn. Banisia elongata Warren, 1896b:340 is from Australia (Cedar Bay). The male syntype is in the NHM. Syn. n. (Shaffer & Nielsen, 1996).
Description
The FW has darker brown patches on a paler yellow brown background. Easily distinguished from C.cumulalis by its lighter coloration and having a more distinctly striped HW and a lack of shiny lead-grey scales (RTS: p.130-131). Very variable in size, the specimens from Pulau Laut (Kalimantan Selatan) are amongst the smallest seen.
Distribution & Habitat
Sarawak, Kalimantan Selatan, Aru, Misool, Batchian, Mantang Riau, New Britain, Australia (Q). Lowland.
