Taxonomy
The holotype of Margaronia acciusalis Walker, 1859: 977 was collected by Wallace from Sarawak. It is in the NHM.
Also recorded from Sarawak by Moulton (1912: 249). -
Description
Wing Length: 9.5mm. The shining white FW has a dark brown costa which narrows towards the apex. The wing margins have two thin brown lines separated by a narrow white fascia. The fringes are white with patches of brown scales. A narrow brown median and post median line crosses both wings. The patagium is brown and the rather ‘waisted’ abdomen is ringed in brown and white.

Sri Lanka, India (Sikkim), W. Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak. Primary forest & secondary forest; <610m.
