Taxonomy
The holotype of Zebronia acamasalis Walker, 1859: 970, is from Hindustan [Pakistan] It is the TS of Chabula Moore [1886] 1884-7. Comb. rev. to Chabula (Shaffer et al., 1996).
Syn. accamasalis Subs. Misspel. (Herring 1901: 281);
syn. Zebronia perspicualis Walker [1866] 1865: 1347. TL S. Hindustan;
syn. Botys flexissimalis Walker, [1866] 1865: 1426. TL Java;
syn. Heterocnephes strangulalis Snellen, 1880: 224 & Snellen, 1884, Pl. 3 fig. 1. TL Sulawesi (Maros).The male type is lost.
Although being very distinctive, the small purple-grey, black and white morphotypes of this group have been variously placed in and Bocchoris, Chabula and Glyphodes until Shaffer et al. (1996) resurrected Chabula from syn. with Bocchoris Moore [1886] 1884-7: 272. -
Description
Wing Length: 9mm. This purple-grey and black and white sp. is readily distinguished by its complex patterning.

Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Burma, Sabah, Brunei, Indonesia (Java, Sulawesi), Taiwan, China (Hong Kong), Japan, Australia. Lowland forest.
